The Island of Samar and Leyte Agriculture Cooperative (ISLACO) is a registered cooperative with a CDA Registration No. 9520-1080000000043787 located at Barangay Sto. Niño, Quinapondan, Eastern Samar with 568 full- fledge members from the municipalities of Marabut, Lawaan, Balangiga, Giporlos, Quinapondan, Hernani, Salcedo, Mercedes and Guiuan. To date, ISLACO is fully operational. It is providing credit and saving services and livelihood program to its members. However, to become economically viable and to support the members in terms of agricultural production and marketing, ISLACO should develop value addition of key agricultural products of members. ISLACO aims to develop quality products of members and engage in marketing to serve its members. Our major product includes processing of dried fish, rice and cacao.
